‘Bringing Global Quality to a Local Context’ is the general theme adopted for the 3rd Annual Forum on e-Learning Excellence in the Middle East 2010. This the reflects the important changes of scale and scope of our institution, since February 2009, when it evolved from eTQM college to Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University.
Effectiveness of e-Learning, e-Learning Strategies, Policy Making & Management Issues, Technology Enhanced Learning, Accreditation, Standards & Quality Frameworks, Facilitation of Online Learning, e- Designing for Learning, Assessment of e-Learners’ Achievements, e-Learning, Work Integrated Learning, and Historical Evolution and Research-Based Evidence will be the sub-themes of the forum.
The 3rd edition of the forum will focus on the systemic approach of networked education and training , where every region and culture is keen to participate in the construction of the knowledge society and economy according to global quality standards, while preserving its own specifity, identity and values.
This is the challenge for bringing global quality to a local context.
